Eighth Round of the 2023 Junior Saloon Car Championship at Silverstone National

Back to Silverstone National for the eighth round of the Junior Saloon Car Championship.
Last year was somewhat problematic, so I was really hoping to have a better run this time.

Before we get into serious racing we had the chance to do a 15 minute practice session.


The quali session determines the starting positions for the three races at the weekend. Your fastest lap is the qualification time for the first race, your second fastest for the second race and (you guessed it) your third fastest for the third race...


Having qualified P14 I managed to improve my position to 13th. Doesn't sound much, but it was a hard fight...


For the second race I had qualified P15 and maintained my position. It was high drama though with a red flag due to an incident at Copse Corner and intense racing all the way to the chequered flag...


In terms of position, the third race went the same way as the second. It was high drama though with a safety car due to an incident at Copse Corner and intense racing all the way to the chequered flag going side by side for most of the last lap...
